stupidDOPE walked our Silly Nice shelf.
Four products, four genuinely different sessions, one Corning dispensary. Here is what the piece got right, what is actually on the menu today, and the two things we would add from behind the counter.
On 19 August 2026, stupidDOPE published a feature by Petra June on the Silly Nice run at Union Chill Cannabis Company in Corning, New York. The article covered four Silly Nice products on our shelf, Bubble Hash, Frosted Hash Ball, Diamond Powder and Papaya Wine Frosted Flower, and called it one of the most complete Silly Nice lineups in New York. As of our 23 August 2026 menu check, Bubble Hash (1g) and Frosted Hash Ball (1g) were live at 50 dollars each before tax. Full details on the Silly Nice brand page, live stock on the brand-filtered menu.
Corning does not need another charger.
Independent New York cannabis should not be something consumers can only find after crossing a bridge into New York City.Petra June, stupidDOPE, 19 Aug 2026
That is the line worth sitting with. Plenty of the most interesting product coming out of New York never travels past the five boroughs, and the Southern Tier ends up shopping a shorter, safer menu than the state actually produces. Getting a full Silly Nice run onto a Gaffer District shelf is not a small logistics footnote. It is the difference between reading about a brand and being able to hold the jar.
The other argument in the piece is about hardware fatigue, and it lands. Modern cannabis is full of batteries, pods, chargers and blinking lights. Bubble Hash asks for a bowl, a paper and enough patience not to use too much. There is something quietly rebellious about a product that needs no instructions, and it is a large part of why hash keeps its place no matter how advanced the legal market gets.
Not four versions of the same thing.
The piece frames the lineup as four separate cannabis experiences rather than four strains of basically the same flower. Having stocked all four, we agree. They ask for different nights.
- 01Bubble Hash
Feeling traditional
Solventless hash, a bowl of flower and nothing that needs charging. The article’s line on this is hard to improve: hash existed before dispensaries, before cartridges, before anyone thought weed needed Bluetooth. - 02Frosted Hash Ball
Feeling like rolling something serious
Temple Hash dusted in Diamond Powder so it stops trying to become part of your fingerprints. Pinch a piece, roll a worm, run it through the middle of a joint. - 03Diamond Powder
Feeling creative
Loose crystalline concentrate. Nobody decides what gets upgraded except you: one bowl, one joint, or the flower already sitting in your jar at home. - 04Frosted Flower
Feeling like skipping the work
Papaya Wine bud infused with Live Resin, then dusted. All the concentrate assembly is handled before the jar opens, and it is still real flower you break down yourself.
Each of those four gets a full breakdown, with live prices and batch potency, on the Silly Nice brand page.
What you can actually buy right now.
An article is a snapshot; a dispensary shelf moves. Here is our own menu, read on 23 August 2026. Availability rotates, so the live menu always outranks this page.
Two things we would add to it.
First, tolerance is the real gate, not experience. Solventless hash runs several times the potency of flower. Plenty of confident daily flower smokers still find a full bowl of Frosted Hash Ball more than they wanted. The article’s framing of potency as a reason to use less is exactly right, and it is worth turning into a rule: start with a pinch smaller than looks reasonable, wait, then decide. Our dosage guide works through this properly.
Second, store it like it cost you fifty dollars. Hash keeps far better cold and dark than it does sitting on a warm windowsill in a Corning summer. Airtight, out of light, away from heat. Terpenes are the first thing to leave, and once the aroma flattens you cannot get it back. The concentrates guide covers handling and storage for every format we stock.
One more note we make constantly at the counter, which the piece touches on: concentrates make an existing stash more versatile. A jar of flower you were bored of becomes three different sessions once Bubble Hash, Diamond Powder or a Frosted Hash Ball enters the picture. That is usually a better use of a cannabis budget than buying a fourth strain.
