Mg-precise dosing — under the tongue.

Tinctures are alcohol- or oil-based cannabis extracts dosed by dropper. The most controllable format on our shelf — sublingual onset 15-45 minutes, exact mg per drop, no smoke or food required.

Section

How tinctures work.

Place drops under the tongue, hold 60-90 seconds, then swallow. The mucous membranes absorb cannabinoids directly into the bloodstream — bypassing the slow stomach-and-liver path of edibles. Result: onset 15-45 minutes, peak around 60-90 minutes, total duration 3-6 hours.

Dose math by the dropper.

Each tincture lists mg-per-mL on the label. A typical dropper holds 1 mL = the dose printed on the bottle (often 5mg, 10mg, or 20mg per mL). For first-time use: start with half a dropper. Wait 30-60 minutes. Re-evaluate.

CBD, THC, or both.

Three formats: CBD-only (non-intoxicating, wellness-only). THC-dominant (intoxicating, recreational). 1:1 or 2:1 ratio (grounded effect, anxiety-friendly). The 1:1 tincture is our most-recommended starter for first-time shoppers.

Drops held sublingually for 60-90 seconds before swallowing absorb cannabinoids directly through mucous membranes into the bloodstream. Onset 15-45 min, peak 60-90 min, duration 3-6 hr. Most controllable cannabis format — exact mg per drop, no smoke, no food required.

Common questions

Common questions.

What's the difference between sublingual and swallowed?
Sublingual (under the tongue, hold 60-90 sec) absorbs through mucous membrane → onset 15-45 min. Swallowed (without holding) becomes an edible → onset 60-120 min via liver metabolism.
How long does an open tincture last?
Sealed: shelf-stable up to 2 years. Once opened, store in cool dark place; potency stays stable for ~12 months. Refrigeration extends shelf life.
Will a tincture get me high?
THC-dominant tincture: yes (intoxicating). CBD-only: no. 1:1 or 2:1 ratio: mild grounded effect, less of a 'high' than straight THC.
